Profile: Academic writing, heavy reading, research, citation management. Primary Goal: Save time on reading and ensure writing quality.

Providers

  • Primary: OpenAI (GPT-5.1) or Anthropic (Claude Sonnet 4.5). These models excel at reasoning and large context handling (great for reading whole papers).

Spaces

Create a Space for each class:

  • Space: History 101 (Upload textbook PDFs, lecture notes)
  • Space: Biology Lab (Upload lab manuals)

Essential Commands

  1. "Summarize Paper"

    • Prompt: "Summarize this academic text in 3 bullet points. Highlight the main hypothesis and conclusion."
    • Usage: Select abstract or introduction of a PDF.
  2. "Fix Citations"

    • Prompt: "Format these references in APA 7th Edition style."
    • Usage: Select your messy bibliography.
  3. "Quiz Me" (Standalone)

    • Prompt: "Generate 5 multiple choice questions based on the content in my [History 101] Space."
  4. "Simplify"

    • Prompt: "Explain this complex paragraph like I am 15 years old."

Workflow Example: The Late-Night Paper

  1. Ingest: Drag 5 source PDFs into your "Term Paper" Space.
  2. Outline: Ask Rephlo: "Create an outline for an essay about [Topic] based on these sources."
  3. Draft: Write your rough draft.
  4. Refine: Select paragraphs and run "Improve Flow" to fix academic tone.
  5. Check: Select your conclusion and ask: "Does this align with the evidence in the Space?"
