Subscriptions

Your Subscription page is where you manage your paid plan: upgrade or downgrade, cancel or reactivate, update your payment method, and view past invoices. Payments and billing are handled securely by Stripe, so your card details are never stored by Rephlo.

Subscription statuses

Your subscription always has a status that tells you where it stands:

StatusMeaning
ActiveYour plan is paid and in good standing.
TrialingYou're in an active free trial (see Free Trial).
PendingAn asynchronous payment (such as Cash App Pay or Klarna) is being confirmed.
Past dueA payment failed; update your card to keep your plan.
CancelledYou cancelled — your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then stops.
SuspendedPaused by an administrator (rare; contact support).
ExpiredA trial or plan has ended and you're back on Free.

Upgrading and changing plans

  • Upgrading from Free to any paid plan sends you to a secure Stripe Checkout page to enter payment.
  • Changing between paid plans shows a preview of the prorated charge or credit before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
  • Downgrading takes effect for the current billing period, and any unused value is applied as credit toward your next invoice.

After any change, your new credit allowance and rate limits apply right away.

Pending (asynchronous) payments

Some payment methods — like Cash App Pay or Klarna — don't confirm instantly. When you use one, your subscription is created in a Pending state and Rephlo checks for confirmation for a few minutes. You'll get a toast notification the moment it switches to Active (or, if the payment fails, you'll be told so you can try another method).

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime from the Subscription page:

  1. Click Cancel subscription.
  2. Optionally tell us why (this helps us improve — it's not required to cancel).
  3. Confirm.

Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for — you keep your credits and features until then, after which you return to Free. You won't be charged again.

Reactivating

Changed your mind? If you cancelled but your paid period hasn't ended yet, a Reactivate option appears. Reactivating clears the pending cancellation and keeps your plan running normally — no new checkout needed. If the period has already ended, simply subscribe again from the Subscription page.

Managing billing in the Stripe portal

The Manage Billing button opens the secure Stripe billing portal, where you can:

  • Update or replace your payment method.
  • View and download invoices and receipts.
  • See your billing history and upcoming charges.

Because the portal is hosted by Stripe, it's the safest place to handle card details.

Payment methods

You can add or remove cards from the billing portal. Note that you can't remove your last remaining card while you have an active subscription — add a replacement first, then remove the old one. For team plans, organization owners and admins manage the workspace's payment methods in workspace billing settings.

Invoices

Every charge generates a Stripe invoice. On your billing page you'll see recent invoices with their status (for example paid, open, void, or refunded), the amount, and the billing period. You can open the hosted invoice or download a PDF for your records. A short preview of recent invoices also appears on the Subscription page, with a link to the full list.

Team and organization billing

For Team, Team BYOK, and Enterprise plans, billing is per seat and managed by the workspace owner. Owners and admins handle seat counts, the shared payment method, and invoices in workspace billing settings. Seat and ownership administration is intentionally kept in those settings — for help, see Teams & Organizations or contact support.
